Since its foundation in 2018, ESy-Labs has established itself in the chemical industry with a focus on organic electrosynthesis and electrochemical recycling of residual materials. Statistical and software-supported methods in experimental design and process development as well as the application of innovative materials and processes based on electrolysis in the fields of electroorganic synthesis and up- and recycling are the unique selling points of ESy-Labs.
As ESy-Labs sees itself as a bridge between laboratory development and industrial application, particular attention is paid to process development using ESy screening and the scaling of electrochemical processes is based directly on this. This means that quantities from a few grams to a few tons per year can be realized at ESy-Labs. The latter is often realized in demonstrators.
